Your Mission
We are looking for talented and passionate people to join our team. As part of our team, you will:
- You will play a central role in optimizing and scaling our ML infrastructure and processes
- You work in an interdisciplinary team with experts on the design and development of our data-driven ML features
- You will design, develop and implement MLOps pipelines for efficient integration, deployment and monitoring of ML models
- You will support the team in selecting and integrating appropriate tools, frameworks and technologies to improve our ML development and deployment processes
- You will be responsible for model and data versioning and ensure automated training, validation and testing workflows
What you need to succeed
- You have a technical degree, e.g. in computer science, physics, mathematics or engineering
- You have several years of professional experience in the software and/or machine learning environment, ideally with BigData in the e-commerce domain
- You have very good programming skills in Python and ideally good knowledge of a static programming language, e.g. C++, Java or C#
- You have a solid understanding of software development and testing, as well as DevOps principles and technologies
- You are familiar with at least one major cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and have experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- You bring good communication and presentation skills in English

How the process might continue after the application
- Review of documents / online test: If your application has convinced us, we will invite you to an online test. The task depends on the apprenticeship you are aiming for.
- Video interview: After a successful test, the next step is the video interview with our HR. Here we would like to get to know you and learn more about you. Schedule about 15-30 minutes for the interview.
- Team introduction interview: This is followed by the final step: getting to know each other in person with the team and your possible colleagues. We meet via video conference and take a lot of time for this – also to answer your questions.
- Offer & hiring: A few days after the team introduction interview, you will receive personal feedback from us. If we are a good match, we would be delighted if you became a Qilin.
